Cena Toscana
This painting is my most ambitious project to date—created as a gift for my parents, Anneliese and Bertl, on their 60th wedding anniversary. Its also a very personal piece – capturing a dinner we shared in Tuscany, with all their children and grandchildren gathered around the table. Beyond the faces and the setting, I’ve woven in subtle references to their life story—moments, symbols, and memories that shaped who they are and who we’ve become as a family.
The project rounded off beautifully by a hand-made frame by my husband Jonathan.
