2025 Restrospective

Freshly picked

As the year comes to a close, I’m reflecting on a period shaped largely by a very personal project — a family portrait created for my parents’ 60th wedding anniversary, bringing together several generations. It was a meaningful and rewarding project and took up most of my painting time in the past year.

I did not focus on marketing in the past year and have resolved to pick that up. My last attempt did not succeed when all 5 original paintings I shipped to a gallery (including the strawberries in the image) were lost in the post.

But I decided to join Saatchi and hope to get some more exposure in the new year. But most importantly, I look forward to a productive 2026 with new ideas and new works.

I look forward to what lies ahead and look forward to sharing a new work soon.
